This happened a few weeks ago. Microsoft released an update for their Xbox 360 software. This didn't happen for any reason that was my fault. I've had the Xbox 360 for about 2 years now, so it's past the factory warranty. I could understand if this was due to some error on my part, but it's not. Microsoft refuses to awknowledge the problem and insists that they are not responsible, even though the software automatically updates. Because it's not giving the specific '3 red lights' error, they won't bother to fix it. |

So, my friend suggested that maybe fellow gamers might be willing to help out, as I can't afford to buy another Xbox 360 on my current wages.
The reason I want to get this fixed is it's used to help entertain my girlfriend's son who suffers from spastic cerebral palsy and is suspected to be autistic as well.
Without a working Xbox 360, he can't play Rock Band, which he really enjoys. I'm not asking for much, but if you're willing, a small donation of as little as $1.00 would help. If enough people help, this can be replaced in no time.

Thank you everyone for your help. I was able to purchase an Xbox 360 Arcade version with the funds donated. I'll leave the site up for a bit, but if you want to donate to a good cause, just follow the Child's Play link.
